A design quarterly from 1974, and the range of it is the point. Russian constructivist film posters — all diagonal type and flat colour — sit a few pages from Kazumasa Nagai's trademarks, reduced to black and white line and printed large enough to study properly. There is a long piece on art direction in advertising, from the years when Japanese agencies were at their most confident, and a run of documentary photographs of crowds that has nothing to do with either.
